The Ghana Office of the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) signed a Medical Services Agreement (MSA) with The Bank Hospital (TBH) on August 13, 2026, to improve access to healthcare services for Korean residents in Ghana and strengthen health and medical cooperation between Korea and Ghana.

The Bank Hospital, a general hospital located in Accra, Ghana, provides a range of medical services supported by modern medical equipment and specialized clinical departments. The agreement was established to help address language barriers and challenges in accessing healthcare services experienced by Korean residents, personnel dispatched to Ghana, and their accompanying family members.

Under the agreement, TBH will designate dedicated staff to assist Korean patients and provide expedited registration and priority appointment services for outpatient care, emergency medical care, specialist consultations, and surgical procedures.

Ms. Anne-Rita Solano, Business Development Consultant at The Bank Hospital, stated, “We are pleased to collaborate with KOFIH, Korea’s specialized organization in the field of international healthcare.” She added that TBH would work closely with KOFIH to provide reliable and high-quality healthcare services to Korean residents in Ghana.

The KOFIH Ghana Office stated that the agreement would help establish a foundation for Korean residents in Ghana to access essential healthcare services more smoothly. KOFIH will continue to strengthen cooperation with local healthcare institutions to support a safe healthcare environment while contributing to health workforce capacity building and enhanced health cooperation between Korea and Ghana.
