KOFIH conducting projects to provide support for healthcare in North Korea established a place to exchange information to prepare for unification of healthcare in after the unification of South Korea and North Korea through courses of unification of healthcare systems between East/West Germany. On November 25th(Wednesday), `Korea-Germay`s Symposium to prepare for Unification of Healthcare in South Korea/North Korea` was held at the gloria hall of Koreana Hotel located in Gwanghawmun of Seoul(Please refer to the notice-161 for details of this event) This symposium based on specific measuring and data on the courses of unification of healthcare systems between East/West Germany was very meaningful since it provided information on issues and resolutions involved in the courses of unification of healthcare systems after Germany`s unification such as medical treatments, medical insurance systems, and financial supports. In addition, through this symposium, diverse opinions were shared through professional`s discussions and Q&A with audience on implication from Germany`s experience in uniting healthcare systems to the unification of healthcare systems between South Korea and North Korea. In addition problems to be raised based on the unification of healthcare systems and resolutions were discussed as well.
