On February 18th(Wednesday), KOFIH donated `Mobile Clinic for Mother &Child`s Health` at MCM located in Adis Ababa of Ethiopia along with persons from Hyundai Motors, the designated depositor of this project. During this ceremony, the persons from Ethiopia including Tedese Haile, the Minister of Ethiopia DTI, Gebreselase Haile, a councilor for the Ethiopia Diplomatic Service, and Gebru Embaye, the director of Diplomatic Service in charge of Asia/Middle East, and approximately 150 persons including Jeong Soon, Seok, the Korean Ambassador to Ethiopia, Son, In Yup, a representative of KOICA Ethiopia, Park, Tae Jin, the chief of KIA Motors Dubai Branch, the Japanese Ambassador to Ethiopia, and the medical officer of the American Embassy were present. `Mobile Clinic for Mother &Child`s Health` donated to MCM is an 8.5-ton topped truck remodeled into a delivery room and checkup room. This vehicle contains warmer, incubator, and portable ultrasonic equipment for delivery and examinations within the vehicle. The Minister of Ethiopia DTI who participated in this ceremony quoted "The Mobile Clinic for Mother and Child`s Health is expected to make great contributions to improving medical environments in Ethiopia and we are looking forward to getting continuous support from MCM for healthcare in Ethiopia with this vehicle in hand". The ceremony was broadcasted by ETV, a public broadcasting station in Ethiopia, and was covered by the Capital News Paper as well. `Mobile Clinic for Mother and Child`s Health` donated to MCM will be used Ginchi areas under it new name of `Mobile Clinic for Project to provide support for healthcare in Ginchi areas in Ethiopia` to provide general medical services including provision of prevention and treatment to mothers and newborn babies.
