On August 18, KOFIH encountered its 2nd commemoration of establishment. On August 28th at the international conference room in Yoido Small/Medium-sized Business Central Hall where KOFIH is located, KOFIH`s 2nd commemoration of establishment was conducted. Interested parties from healthcare fields and the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family showed up. Approximately 150 home and foreign guests including Kwon, Lee Hyuk, an honorary secretary general of KOFIH, the international cooperation officer of the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family, Joo, Soo Ho, the president of KMA, Professor Shin, Young Soo from medical college of Seoul National University, and Lee, Sang Seok, the director of KHRDI showed up for this commemoration. During this commemoration 14 persons having made dedications to KOFIH were awarded with commendations from the Minister for Health Welfare, and Family, appreciation plaques from the Minister for Health Welfare, and Family, and appreciation plaque from the secretary general of KOFIH. Awardees of commendations from the Minister for Health, Welfare, and Family included Kim, Kwan Seok, the director of Kim, Kwan Seok Clinic, Choi, Jong Gun, the director of Sungnam Bokum Clinic, Kim, Seung Gil, the deputy chief of the public relations department of Grand Korea Leisure Co.,Ltd, and Jo, Soo Jin, an assistant manager of KOFIH`s general affairs team. Awardees of appreciation plaques from the Minister Jeon, Jae Hee included Emintura, the president of Sanofi Co.,Ltd, Yoo, Woo Pyeong, the president of Pharmaceutical Yooyoung Co.,Ltd, Joo, Moon Gi, the management executive of Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltc, and Jeong, Jin Yeop, the director of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. awardees of appreciation plaques from Park, Jong Hwa, the secretary general of KOFIH included Choi, Soo Boo, the president of Kwang Dong Pharm. Co.,Ltd, Lee, Sae Young, the president of Samyak Pharm. co.,Ltd, The Federation`s Churchwoman of the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea, Lee, Jong Soo, the secretary general of the Traditional Korean Medicine Association, and Hong, Won Pyo, the chairman of Byulbit Foundation of Asia. The commemoration lasted from May 26 to July 31 and the ceremony for awardees who wrote reports on Dr. Lee, Jong Wook`s biography called 「Act upon Righteousness」was performed along. The awardee Kim, Do Hwan directly read his report on `The former WHO Director Genera Lee, Jong Wook`s 33 Messages to the Youth` and received a big round of applause. At 3 PM at the same place, `Memorial Seminar on methods to provide support for foreign migrant worker`s health management` was hosted by KOFIH`s North Korea Cooperation Team. On this day, professor Ahn, Guri from medical college of Seoul National University who performed a presentation related to `methods to provide support for foreign migrant worker`s health management` quoted "Currently, treatments for foreign migrant workers are sporadic and are limited to primary treatments" and he also quoted "Considering the fact that foreign migrant workers cover 2% of the overall population, medical transfer systems should be secured and preventive treatments should be introduced as well".
