KOFIH conducts projects to commemorate Late, Lee, Jong Wook, the former director general of WHO. Accordingly, a tape cutting ceremony for the 2nd photo exhibition to commemorate Late Lee, Jong Wook was conducted on May 26th at the Gwanggyo Gallery located in Cheonggyecheon, Soul. Lee, Bong Hwa, a member of the Ministry for health, Welfare and Family showed up for this ceremony. The photo exhibition will last until the upcoming June 1st. In this photo exhibition, Late Lee`s life story including his 60 years and time records of activities done as the global world`s guard from diseases until he passed away on May 2006 after becoming the initial chief of the international institution as Korean on July 2003 will be displayed in photos. The vice-minister Lee, Bong Hwa, who participated as a guest this day, praised the deceased who had devotedly provided love for our mankind for 23 years by dedicating oneself to WHO as the leader of WHO`s South Pacific Leprosy Eradication Team quoted "The mission for those people involved in healthcare systems is to be in succession to Late Lee`s willingness for advancement". Park, Jong Hwa, the president of KOFIH who gave a speech on behalf of KOFIH provided a report on proceedings of diverse projects such as `Dedication of Dr. Lee, Jong Wook`s Portrait` and `Establishment of Dr. Lee, Jong Wook`s Official Health Memorial Prize` which took place during WHO General Meeting in Switzerland Geneva from May 18 to May 22. In this tape cutting ceremony, the vice-minister Lee, Bong Hwa of the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family, Kim, Tae, Hong, the chief of health service committee of the National Assembly, Kim, Seong Ho, the former minister of the Ministry of health and Welfare, and Joo, Soo Ho, the chief of KMA showed up. In addition, Lim, Jeong Gi, the dean of medical college of Seoul National University, Ha, Kwon Ik, the president of alumnus of medical college of Seoul National University, Shin, Young Soo, a friend and professor of medical college of Seoul National University, Park, Kwan Hee, the president of alumnas of Gyeongbok High School, Jang, Yong Taek, the president of Shinpoong Co.,LTD and friend, Lee, Jong Oh, a family member of the deceased and professor of Myongji University, and Shin, Pil Gyoon, the secretary general of Community Chest of Korea showed up as well.
