From September 17th to 19th, KOFIH visited Islamabad in Pakistan to give education on the use of ambulances to actual users after donating the two emergency ambulances (worth 100,000,000Won) free of charge.
During this event, approximately 50 people including seniors from ERRA, subordinate organizations of the Pakistan Government, persons from the Korean Embassy in Pakistan, and 7 in-the-field press companies showed up. A senior from ERRA showed his gratitude and quoted "The ambulances will be efficiently used to save lives of patients in emergency".
This donation is supported based on contributions gathered from the employees of Korea Pfizer Co.,Ltd after the severe earthquake hit Pakistan in October 2005. KOFIH and Pakistan personnel have reached a solution to donate ambulances.
Emergency Ambulances not only contains basic internal systems, but also contains cardioverter, oxygen-glycosylation measuring instrument, respiratory tract maintenance instrument, the cervical vertebral holder, and blood sugar measuring instrument.
