No, Gwang Ul, the secretary general of KOFIH, quoted "Since the medical supplies in previous provisions do not sufficiently meet the demand of North Korea. this project to support raw materials for medical supplies will provide support for pharmaceutical manufacturers originally supported by private SK organizations Therefore, it will result greater production and enhance the self-dependency of North Korea. Hence, such event greatly holds symbolic significance". The Ministry of Unification provided funding of 1,000,000,000Won to KOFIH under a purpose to activate establishments of medical supply manufactories in North Korea and to activate the project for provision of medical supplies. The Ministry of Unification and KOFIH will be conducting on-site co-monitoring to secure transparency of the distributions.
