On September 7th at the main building front of the National Assembly, KOFIH conducted a ceremony to provide five trucks(5 tons respectively) to flood-stricken North Korean areas. Gwang Ul, the secretary general of KOFIH, Bae, Gi Seon, the chairman of specialized Committee for Peaceful Unification of the National Assembly, and Congressman Jang, Bok Sim/Oh, Young Sik showed up for this ceremony. In this provision, the supplies include medical supplies(approximately 50 items including fever reducer/cold medicine/antibiotic/muscle relaxant) worth 310,000,000Won, instant noodles, and mineral water. The medical supplies were supported by Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and Suji Samsung Hospital. The daily necessities were supported by C&GROUP, Korea Water Resources Corporation, and Hyundai Motor Group. On this day, Bae, Gi Seon, the chairman of committee, awarded the appreciation plaques to Choi, Hyun Joo, a leader of North Korea Support Team of KOFIH who led the support in North Korea, Kim, Bong Kyun, an advisor for Jang, Bok Sim, Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd(President Lim, Seong Gi), Yooyoung Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd(C.E.O. Yoo, Young So), Boyoung Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd(C.E.O. Kim, Kwang Ho), Whan In Pharm. Co.,Ltd(President Lee, Gye Gwan), Korea Water Resources Corporation, C&GROUP, and Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.
