From May 16th to 18th, an employee from KOFIH visited Onjeong People`s Hospital along with 34 persons from National Health Insurance Corporation(Chairman Lee, Jae Yong) and Korea Association of Health Promotion(President Lee, Soon Hyung). Through this visit, specialists of gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, and ENT treated approximately 60 North Korean patients. In addition, health education involving endoscope was given and South/North Korean medical staff members attended. In addition, previously inspected operating status of lab equipment(ENT Unit, ECG Inspector, and ETC) was checked as well. The group of visitors attended `Rice-planting Event for Unification` and planned the schedule for cataract operations to take place in June with North Korean personnel.
