The closing ceremony for the 4^th North Korea Healthcare Support Academy was held at the KOFIH headquarters in Seoul, Korea on July 15. Since launched in 2013, the Academy has offered educational programs to strengthen the capabilities of institutions, organizations, and employees involved in North Korea healthcare support including policy and planning experts. The Academy marks 4^th year in 2016 and has produced 31 participants to date. From July 22 to 23, the participants and lecturers of the Academy gathered for a workshop in Ganghwa Island, Korea. During the workshop, a former Deputy Minister of Planning and Coordination of the Ministry of Unification lectured on “experience-based negotiation strategies for North Korea healthcare support,” which was followed by the “advanced lecture section.” The participants were eager to learn and actively engaged in the programs.
